Zedra has completed its acquisition of BNP Paribas Jersey Trust Corporation, following regulatory approval by the Jersey Financial Services Commission.
Zedra has maintained a strong presence in Jersey. As a core jurisdiction for the firm, it is its largest office, providing services for corporates, private clients and fund promoters. This latest deal will bring additional scale and local expertise to the Jersey team.
BNP Paribas Jersey Trust Corporation has been providing trustee and fiduciary services for more than 30 years, as well as trustee services to private equity and real estate institutional funds for the past decade.
The completion of the deal follows Zedra’s acquisition of BNP Paribas Singapore Trust Corporation in July 2020, now fully integrated and renamed Zedra Trustees (Singapore), which serves the Asian ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth markets.
BNP Paribas Wealth Management will continue to work with Zedra as a preferred partner for trust services, while continuing to provide wealth management services to its clients.
