Zedra has acquired UK pension trustee and governance services provider PTL.
Founded in 1994, PTL acts for defined contribution and defined benefit pension schemes, group life trusts and healthcare trusts.
The deal, which follows Zedra's acquisition of Inside Pensions last year, adds professional trustee services to Zedra's pension offering in the UK.
Its Pension Services division now consists of five offices in London, Reading, Leeds, Birmingham and St Albans and increases the headcount to 70.
It is anticipated that the PTL brand name will in due course be rebranded to Zedra, but PTL will continue trading under its existing name for the time being.
PTL's senior management team – Managing Director Richard Butcher and Directors Kim Nash, Colin Richardson and Alison Bostock – will remain in post to run the business alongside Zedra managers.
