Vistra announces CI leadership changes

GemmaVoisin_Vistra_oct21Vistra has made three leadership changes in its Channel Islands business.

Gemma Voisin (pictured) has been named Sector Head for Private Wealth in the Channel Islands. She will also join the main board of Vistra Jersey and become a member of the firm's Global Private Wealth Sector committee.

Gemma has more than 20 years' experience in finance, specialising in complex structures for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, particularly the management of UK residential and commercial property structures.

She began her career with Chase Bank in London before returning to Jersey, where she previously worked for Capco Trust Company Jersey and Standard Charted Grindlays Trust Company. She joined WJB Chiltern in 2002 prior to the management buy-in of Vistra Group.

Simon Morgan_Vistra_oct21Additionally, Simon Morgan (pictured), who has led Vistra's Private Wealth business for the past 10 years, becomes Executive Director for Private Wealth. 

Simon has been in the international fiduciary business since 1982, working in Jersey and the Cayman Islands. He began his career with HSBC Private Bank before joining Barclays Private Bank in Cayman. 

He relocated to Jersey as Barclays’ Head of Wealth Structuring before moving to RBS Coutts as Global Head of Trust and Fiduciary. 

Simon also served as Global Chair of STEP from 2019 to 2020. 

Finally, Karin Lynch, who has also been with Vistra for almost 18 years in a trust management role, becomes Head of Service Delivery for Private Wealth in Jersey. 

She will work with Gemma and the leadership team to ensure the continued growth of the Private Wealth team.
