Jersey-based tech company SystemLabs has acquired IT security products and services distributor Redcoin, also based in Jersey.
The acquisition bolsters SystemLabs’ existing knowledge in cybersecurity and adds security products to its roster.
These include preventative solutions such as firewalls, encrypted hard drives and two-factor authentication keys to disaster recovery and remote device wiping services, providing scalable solutions for customers of all sizes.
As part of the acquisition, Redcoin Managing Director Alex Blackwell will move to SystemLabs as Director of Business Development.
Jamie McDonald, SystemLabs' Director and Head of Infrastructure, said: "This move not only gives us access to a range of security tools and vendors, which will enable us to further meet existing clients' cyber-security needs, but also provides access to a new client base.”
