Sure has appointed Paul Acton as its Chief Executive, based in Jersey. He replaces the retiring Graham Hughes, who has led the business for nine years but will remain with Sure as a Non-Executive Director.
Paul joins the telecoms company from global communications and entertainment provider Digicel, where he has served as Group Commercial Director for the past four years. Prior to taking up this role, Paul spent a year leading Digicel's Trinidad and Tobago business.
He has more than 20 years’ experience in executive-level roles across blue-chip telecoms and IT companies specialising in enterprise solutions, digital transformation, advanced analytics and managed services.
Earlier in his career, Paul worked for IBM, Hewlett-Packard and Microsoft in Ireland. He also founded and led Dublin-based software firm WestGlobal.
