Sionic_Craig SherFinancial services specialist Catalyst Development and global consulting firm Sionic Advisors, which has offices in Jersey, have merged under the Sionic brand.

The firms’ merger was first announced in April, a year after Catalyst’s acquisition of asset and wealth management specialists Knadel.

Craig Sher (pictured), who has been with Sionic since 2014, has been named Chief Executive Officer of the newly combined business. Andrew Middleton, who has served as Catalyst's CEO since August 2015, becomes an Executive Director of the Sionic board.

Sher commented: “The new Sionic combines three organisations brought together in just over a year to offer expertise across a wide range of specialisations. Adopting the single brand will make it easier for our clients and potential clients to identify and access our blend of business and people development services.

"We will shortly be announcing a series of senior industry hires and office openings across Europe, Asia and the Americas.”

Sionic is backed by mid-sized private equity firm Livingbridge.
