Ocorian has completed the acquisition of regulatory consultancy Bovill.
Bovill's team of more than 80 staff, its range of services and global footprint will become part of Newgate, Ocorian's regulatory and compliance business in the Channel Islands and UK, to offer support to financial services organisations internationally.
The acquisition will combine a range of regulatory and compliance services with Ocorian's proprietary compliance technology GATEway to clients across fund and asset management, capital markets, wealth and payments.
Bovill's CEO Rebecca Thorpe (pictured) and Executive Chair Ben Blackett-Or will join Ocorian's regulatory and compliance leadership team.
Rebecca has been with Bovill for 18 years, including seven years as Head of Asia based in Hong Kong. Ben founded Bovill in 1999 and spent 23 years as CEO before handing the role to Rebecca in 2022.
