Monique O'Keefe takes over as JFSC Deputy Chair

MoniqueO'Keefe_JFSCCommissioner Monique O’Keefe has succeeded Ian Wright as Deputy Chair of the Jersey Financial Services Commission. 

With 20 years’ experience in finance and law, Monique joined the Board of Commissioners in December 2018.

She co-founded Jersey-based financial consultancy Kairos Wealth in 2015 and is still a Director. She has also held directorships at Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs, and currently serves on the boards of a London-listed property fund, an investment adviser, a European hedge fund and a London-listed solar energy fund among others.

Her early career included five years as a lawyer with New Zealand law firm MinterEllisonRuddWatts, based in Australia, and four with Clifford Chance in London.

Ian Wright has retired after completing a nine-year term as a Commissioner. He joined the Board of Commissioners in 2012 and was reappointed for a further four-year term in 2017, taking on the role of Deputy Chair of the JFSC in November 2018.
