Lloyds Bank International names new Guernsey head

Julie Ronaldson_Lloyds_feb24Lloyds Bank International has appointed Julie Ronaldson as its new Island Director for Guernsey. 

Based in Guernsey, Julie will report into Lloyds Bank International’s Crown Dependencies Director, Adele Bohlen.

She replaces Mike Jones, who has been appointed Director for Strategy & Performance in Lloyds Bank International’s private banking team.
 
Julie brings to the new role nearly 25 years’ banking experience with Lloyds Bank, having originally joined Bank of Scotland, part of Lloyds Banking Group.  

She has held a number of roles across the bank, including regional oversight manager for Lloyds Bank International, overseeing the credit risk for the Channel Islands and Isle of Man, as well as senior credit, business development and operational roles.  

Julie joined Lloyds Bank International in 2017, initially in Jersey, before moving to Guernsey in 2019.
 
She will retain her role as Head of Commercial Banking in Guernsey but will now also be responsible for the community bank branch. 

She will have overall responsibility for Lloyds Bank International’s presence in Guernsey, including liaising with government and regulatory bodies in Guernsey.
