The firm will make available an international team of more than 40 specialists across economics, geopolitics, financial services, green and renewables, digital and tax.

The project will be implemented across five phases. The first three will analyse the Isle of Man’s economy, consider models for policy change, and assess the island’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats within a global context.

KPMG will engage with government departments, trade associations and networks, as well as with the wider public.

The team will be led by Nicola Mazzarotto, Global Head of Economics for KPMG, and Simon Nicholas, Partner at KPMG in the Crown Dependencies.

Neale Jehan (pictured), Guernsey-based Senior Partner with KPMG in the Crown Dependencies, commented: “Simon and the team will bring challenge and critical thinking to the future of the island at a very important time for all of the Crown Dependencies as we recover post-Covid.”
