Julius Baer has appointed James Swaisland as its Chief Risk Officer in Guernsey.
James has dedicated his career to risk and regulation in the financial services industry. He started at Royal Bank of Canada in Guernsey, before moving to London and Edinburgh for 17 years.
In 2012, James returned to Guernsey and has served as Head of Compliance at Canaccord Genuity since then.
In his new role, James will be responsible for the management and control of market, operational, compliance and legal risks related to the Guernsey branch.
