HSBC has made two senior appointments to its Commercial Banking division across the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
Krzysztof Wozniak has been named Head of International Subsidiary Banking and Multinationals in the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, while Paul Smith becomes Head of Commercial Banking in Guernsey.
In his new role, based in Jersey, Krzysztof will drive the bank’s international offering to the corporate sector from the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
An international banking specialist, he has more than 20 years’ experience including 13 years in a variety of management roles with HSBC.
For the past six years he has served as Head of International Subsidiary Banking and Multinationals in the Polish branch of HSBC Continental Europe.
Meanwhile, Paul will assume responsibility for driving forward HSBC’s Commercial Banking business in Guernsey, with a focus on the sustainable growth of its inbound and captives businesses.
An experienced commercial banking professional with more than 17 years’ banking experience, Paul has held a variety of roles for HSBC in the UK, and previously at RBS.
Paul is a Chartered Fellow of the London Institute of Banking and Finance.
