HSBC names Kevin Herbert as Head of Private Banking

KevinHerbert_HSBC_sep21HSBC has appointed Kevin Herbert as Head of Private Banking in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.

In his new role, based in Guernsey, Kevin will focus on growing the private banking business in the islands and support an enhanced wealth management and legacy planning offering for clients.

Working at HSBC since 1987, Kevin has held a number of senior international roles, most recently Co-Head of Private Banking in North Asia, based in Hong Kong, where he supported Asian families. 

He has also held positions across the bank’s commercial, wealth and personal banking, and expat businesses, including several years in Guernsey and Jersey.

Kevin takes over the role from Ed Bloor, who has led the private banking business in the islands for more than four years and is returning to the UK with the bank.
