Guernsey Finance has appointed Josephine Bush as a strategic adviser for green and sustainable finance.
Over a 28-year career, Josephine spent 14 years as a Partner at EY, where she specialised in renewable energy and led a global initiative to build out the global renewables sector.
Josephine is particularly focused on developing commercially effective ESG and sustainable strategies that robustly manage risk as well as seize opportunity.
More recently, she has founded not-for-profit platform Sustainability & You and management consultancy JRB. She also serves as an NED for Vulcan Energy Resources and Net Zero Now, and is an investment committee member for sustainable infrastructure at Gresham House.
In her new role, Josephine aims to raise awareness across the financial community about the impacts of climate change and biodiversity loss, with a focus on accelerating solutions.
She commented: “My association with Guernsey stretches back many years. There is a clear commitment to developing green and sustainable finance here and I am excited to join Guernsey Finance as it continues to develop its strategy.
