Collas Crill Jersey has appointed Matthew Gilley as a Partner in its corporate, finance and funds department.
Joining the firm from Ogier, Matthew specialises in financing transactions for international banks and acts for a wide range of Jersey, UK and European financial institutions and senior and mezzanine lenders.
He has particular expertise in the financing and structuring of commercial real estate transactions and loan portfolio sales and acquisitions, as well as fund finance and general banking transactions.
Matthew also works on a broad range of corporate transactions, including establishing investment vehicles, particularly Jersey property unit trusts, to acquire a range of assets including real estate, private M&A, group reorganisations and advising listed clients on general company law and corporate governance matters.
Matthew is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales and an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey.
