Guernsey-based cyber risk consultancy CentricalCyber has appointed Darren Clement as a Director.
A Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) with more than 25 years’ experience, Darren has held positions at international banking and finance businesses, consultancy practices and IT service providers in the UK, Europe and the Channel Islands.
This has included 16 years in the UK as MD of NetCentrix and then MD of SystemHOST. In 2007, Darren moved to Guernsey to become Head of Managed Services for Itex, after which he moved to Investec Bank (Channel Islands) as Head of IT, a role he has held for the past eight years.
He joins CentricalCyber to help establish and lead the firm's real-time CISO Office service and to assist with the company’s international expansion strategy.
CentricalCyber uses international frameworks, alongside local regimes such as the Guernsey Financial Services Commission’s cyber security rules, to help organisations manage and reduce cyber risk and demonstrate an effective governance and assurance capability.
