Lawyers from Carey Olsen's corporate team in Guernsey have advised private equity firm 7RIDGE on its acquisition of Trading Technologies International, a global provider of high-performance professional trading software, infrastructure and data solutions.
The acquisition, which is expected to close before the end of the year subject to regulatory approvals, will help 7RIDGE drive the organic growth of Trading Technologies and bring the Chicago-based technology provider future strategic acquisitions.
Working alongside lead counsel Proskauer, the Carey Olsen team advising 7RIDGE on all Guernsey-related corporate and regulatory aspects of the acquisition was led by Partner David Crosland, assisted by Senior Associate James Cooke and Associate Oliver Orton.
Trading Technologies' team, which spans 13 offices across four continents, has provided derivatives trading software for more than 27 years.
Following the completion of the transaction, it will continue to function independently, focusing on delivering enterprise-wide solutions for institutional and professional trading.
