Mr Woodcock brings with him over 30 years’ experience of retail mortgage products from the UK and overseas. He joins Butterfield from Barclays, where he spent ten years as Vice President responsible for mortgage distribution across Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.

Mr Woodhead is re-joining Butterfield from Rothschild & Co, where he was the Head of Business Development for Private Client Lending. He was previously a Lending Manager with Butterfield between 2008 and 2014.

Edward Jones, Head of Lending for the Channel Islands at Butterfield, said: “Butterfield aims to become the preferred bank for local customers in the Channel Islands. Following the successful launch of residential mortgages last year, we look forward to introducing further financial products to the market. Julian and David will oversee that process of continued development. Both are long-term residents with a proven track-record and valued experience which will enhance our offer to clients and I welcome them to the team.”
