Bedell Cristin moves to larger office in Singapore

New Bedell Cristin officesBedell Cristin has strengthened its commitment to Singapore and the wider South East Asia region with a move to new premises. 

The Jersey-headquartered firm, which also has offices in the BVI, Cayman Islands, Guernsey and London, has relocated to a larger office space in Stanley Street to support its growing South East Asian business. 

Bedell Cristin, which first opened an office in Singapore in 2012, offers offshore legal advice that spans banking, corporate finance, dispute resolution, funds, insolvency, private client, regulatory and restructuring work in the Asian time zone.

The firm plans to use the new office for increasing collaboration and sharing knowledge through events.

Joanne Verbiesen and Kristian Wilson, Bedell CristinTim Pearce, Global Managing Partner, Bedell Cristin, said: "It is our intention to recruit more locally based lawyers with an international focus as we build our business in the region. 

"The move is part of our international growth strategy where we focus on providing comprehensive offshore legal services from a partner-led team across our key markets."

The firm has been included in the recently published second edition of The Straits Times’ list of Singapore’s Best Law Firms 2022 – a survey conducted with market researcher Statista and based on more than 10,000 recommendations from some 4,000 lawyers, clients and colleagues.
