Appleby has appointed Alex Thornton de Mauroy as a Senior Associate in its dispute resolution team in Guernsey.
Alex qualified as a solicitor in 2014 with Stephenson Harwood in London, practising there until joining Appleby this summer. Prior to this, he was located in Paris in the litigation department of financial services firm Natixis.
Alex’s experience covers complex, multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration across a range of sectors, acting for banks, corporates and individuals.
He was also part of a team advising a bank in connection with a long-running liquidation of a feeder fund, and he has experience of litigation funding.
