Appleby has advised Tritax Big Box REIT on the £90m acquisition of a 872,000sq ft distribution unit in Avonmouth, near Bristol.
Tritax Big Box REIT, a FTSE 250 real estate investment trust, is the only listed vehicle dedicated to investing in very large logistics warehouse assets in the UK.
The Appleby Jersey team was led by Corporate Partner Andrew Weaver, assisted by Senior Associate Chris Smedley and Associate Mark Watson.
Their support of the acquisition follows Appleby's work with Tritax on its green bond issue last year, one of the first sterling green bonds to be issued by a UK REIT.
