Andy Sloan steps down from Guernsey Finance

AndySloan_jul21Guernsey Finance Deputy Chief Executive Andy Sloan will be leaving the promotional body at the beginning of August.

Andy joined Guernsey Finance in August 2018 and has made key contributions to the development of the organisation's financial services strategy, including initiatives such as Sustainable Guernsey and the Green Finance Fund.

He commented on LinkedIn: "Guernsey’s finance sector is in great health and after nearly four years leading finance sector strategy development, summer 2021 is an excellent time for me to move on from Guernsey Finance and pursue new challenges.  

"I continue as an expert reviewer for the International Panel on Climate Change and my current non-exec roles [with Obsidian Fund Services and ESI Monitor].

"I will be providing strategic advisory services across economics, risk and climate change whilst launching sustainability and sustainable finance initiatives I am passionate about and keen to progress in the commercial environment."
