Jersey-based trust and corporate services company VG has promoted Aaron Smith (pictured) to Senior Trust Officer and announced several other appointments, following a 225% increase in new business during 2020/21.
Aaron, who joined VG in 2018 in a trust administration capacity, has more than 10 years’ experience in finance and commercial property management.
Before joining VG, he spent three years with RBC, following almost eight years with property businesses in the UK.
At VG, Aaron manages restricted services clients and is responsible for a portfolio of complex structures, including two large corporate clients, an automotive group and a UK property development group.
The company has also made several other appointments:
• Tommy Ling – promoted to Trust Administrator in the private wealth team
• Matt Philpott – Trust Administrator in the private wealth team
• Gareth Ashby – Business Intelligence Solutions Developer
• Jessica Giraffa – Compliance Administrator
