VG has announced three appointments to its management team.
Joining VG from Intertrust, Christie Barette has become a Manager within the wealth structuring team, where she is responsible for providing technical support for client services.
Christie brings to the firm more than 30 years' experience managing structures for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, their families and family offices with a diverse range of asset classes, including investment portfolios, commercial and residential real estate, and luxury assets.
Her earlier career in Jersey included almost 14 years with Hawksford and seven with Stonehage Fleming.
Also within the wealth structuring team, Ben Schofield has been promoted to Manager. Ben joined VG in 2014, having previously worked for Nautilus Trust and Moore Stephens.
Over a 12-year career, he has worked on a diverse portfolio, including corporate, debt, family office and high-net-worth private client wealth structures.
Finally, Paul Bulstrode has been promoted to Manager (Real Estate and Islamic Finance – Funds).
Paul joined VG in 1984 as a trainee bookkeeper/messenger and progressed into a variety of roles before becoming a founding member of VG’s funds team in the mid-1990s.
Paul is now responsible for a portfolio of structures investing in global real estate and shariah-compliant-based equities for longstanding clients. He is also responsible for management of the unregulated real estate team.
