Andrew Horbury has been recruited as a Director for offshore education specialist the School of International Financial Services (SIFS).
Andrew joins SIFS from BPP, where for the past three years he has held the position of Global Head of Blockchain and Cryptocurrency, and Senior Lecturer in Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime Prevention.
He has also served as a Special Adviser to Blockchain Jersey for the past three years and is a Partner at web investor NetZero Capital.
Helen Hatton, Executive Director at SIFS, commented: "Andrew’s appointment represents a significant step in the expansion of SIFS, as we continue to deliver training and education programmes to meet the needs of financial services businesses in offshore markets."
Andrew is a Fellow of the International Compliance Association, with which SIFS announced a partnership this month to provide professional qualifications in Jersey and the Isle of Man.
