Financial services consultants Julian Burrows and Stephen McAlister have launched Jersey-based business Sabre Advisory to help local businesses deal with the challenges of the current environment.
The pair formed the firm having worked together at global consultancy firm Sionic, delivering projects for financial services businesses across the Channel Islands, Dublin and Luxembourg.
Julian has more than 15 years’ experience in the financial sector, including as Head of Private Equity Fund Administration for MUFG Investor Services, and has also served as a Director of UBS.
Stephen is a change leader with a background in IT project delivery and has previously held management roles in Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays Wealth and Investment Management and RBS International.
Stephen commented: “The global environment for financial services businesses is challenging, with strategic misalignment between businesses' ambitions and abilities, an ever-changing regulatory environment and an urgent desire to go digital.
"It’s understandable that tackling complex or strategic problems often takes a back seat to day-to-day operations. We can bring expertise, experience and resources to the situation to help clients realise their potential.”
