PwC has made two promotions in the Channel Islands. Former Director Roland Mills becomes Partner, providing assurance services in the financial services sector, and David Carney moves from Senior Manager - Risk Assurance to the role of Director.
Roland (pictured top) has been with the network for 17 years, relocating from PwC in Pretoria to Guernsey in 2001. An asset management specialist, he focuses on private equity and alternatives funds. He also leads PwC’s private equity industry IFRS accounting focus group.
David (below) joined PwC UK in 2006 and led its data assurance team across the South and East region. He relocated to Jersey in 2013 to lead PwC’s risk assurance practice across the islands.
During his career, David has spent 16 years specialising in technology assurance and information security, controls assurance, internal audit and data analytics. In his new role, he will address challenges in the Channel Islands’ financial services and digital sectors.
