PwC Channel Islands announces Director appointments

PwC Guernsey promotions nov20PwC has promoted seven Directors across the Channel Islands. Four are Guernsey-based – Kimberley Girard, Evgenia Litvintseva-Demetriou, Jonathan Mauger and Bernard Mullaly – and three are located in Jersey – Hani Salem, Phon Siney and Nadine van der Westhuizen.

Kimberley joined PwC’s graduate training programme in 2006. Her 14 years in the business since has included a secondment to PwC South Africa and six months in London with the technical training team. Her role now focuses on driving strategic priorities, promoting operational excellence and driving digital change. 

Evgenia studied finance in Moscow before joining PwC in Cyprus in 2004. She relocated to PwC in Guernsey in 2015 and has almost 16 years’ client audit experience. In her current role as Audit Director, she specialises in insurance and asset management.

Jonathan relocated to Japan in 2006 and returned to Guernsey in 2009 to embark on PwC’s graduate training programme. He is an alternative assets specialist, and has been a senior member of the firm’s capital markets team and advising new funds on initial public offerings. 

In his role as Director, Jonathan will focus on the audit of alternative investment funds, including private equity, real estate, venture capital and music royalty funds and insurance companies.

Bernard worked for State Street in Dublin and then Grant Thornton before relocating to PwC in Guernsey. In his role as Audit Director, he focuses on private equity clients and works with global clients in the alternative asset management space.

PwC Jersey promotions nov20Originally from Lebanon, Hani has 15 years’ experience, most recently with PwC, which he initially joined in London in 2015, before relocating to PwC’s Jersey office in 2017. He specialises in banking, fiduciary and wealth management sectors and has international experience in these areas.

Born in Thailand, Phon was educated in Jersey, before joining PwC on the island in 2006. She has 14 years’ client audit experience at the firm across the UK and Europe. In her role as Audit Director, Phon specialises in the alternative investment funds sector.  

Finally, Nadine joined PwC South Africa’s graduate training programme, then worked in the US and London before making the move to Jersey in 2018. She has a portfolio of global clients across sectors including asset and wealth management and insurance.
