Ogier's listed funds team in Guernsey has reported that it has advised on secondary fundraisings by three of its listed funds clients in as many months.
The fundraises, carried out by Hipgnosis Songs Fund, Chrysalis Investments and The Schiehallion Fund, have raised around £875m between them.
Secondary fundraisings are fresh capital raises by listed companies, often raising money from existing shareholders and giving the opportunity for new investors unable to participate in the initial public offering, or investors who have been unable to gain exposure through the market, to purchase new shares.
