Mourant has appointed a new Partner and three new Principals in the Channel Islands as part of its mid-year promotions round.
Alana Gillies (pictured), Counsel in the firm's Guernsey Corporate practice, has been promoted to Partner. Alana has been with Mourant since 2014, when she moved to Guernsey from Glasgow to become a Senior Associate in the firm.
Meanwhile, three members of Mourant Governance Services' top team have been appointed as Principals – Stephen McGrath, Managing Director, Jersey; Frances Webster, Managing Director, Client Accounting; and Thomas Barnes (pictured), Managing Director, Guernsey.
Stephen has been with Mourant for seven years, having previously worked for Deutsche Bank, Bedell Cristin and Walkers.
Frances joined Mourant in 2016 after moving to Jersey to work for Zenith Trust Company, STM Fiduciaire and, more recently, RBC Wealth Management.
And Thomas has been with Mourant in Guernsey since 2014, following four years in senior management roles with RBC Wealth management and Trident Trust Company.
