JFSC makes two senior appointments

Monique O'Keefe_JFSC_mar21Monique O’Keefe has been named Deputy Chair, and Diane Maxwell Director of Policy, at the Jersey Financial Services Commission.

Monique (pictured right), who joined the Board of Commissioners in 2018, will take over the Deputy Chair role following Commissioner Ian Wright’s retirement in April. 

Based in Jersey, Monique has experience in finance and law and has worked in a variety of organisations across government, international investment banks, sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions and international businesses.

Diane Maxwell_jfsc_mar21During her career, she has spent time with Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs, and founded financial consultancy Kairos Wealth in 2015. She has also held various NED roles on the island.

Diane (pictured left) is a former Retirement Commissioner for New Zealand. She returned to the United Kingdom in 2019 after serving two three-year terms, founding ESG consultancy Lithium Group in London. 

In her new role at the JFSC, Diane will support the organisation’s strategic priorities and drive forward engagement with industry. She will move to the island before the summer.
