Investec_St Pancras CampusInvestec Bank (Channel Islands) has been part of an international group of lenders for the redevelopment of a 1.2 acre freehold site in Camden, north London, inside the King's Cross Knowledge Quarter.

The £90m debt finance deal for W.RE will enable the developer to create three new buildings totalling more than 250,000 sq ft.

The project, known as St Pancras Campus (pictured), will include office, light industrial and retail space, along with 33 new homes, with 19 designated as affordable housing.

The commercial elements are expected to appeal to the technology, media and life science sectors, with 50% of the offices already pre-let. There will also be a public open space at the centre of the development.

Jane Niles, Head of Real Estate Offshore at Investec Bank (Channel Islands), commented: "King's Cross is an increasingly important London destination. It's always exciting to work with W.RE to bring its projects to life."
