Investec has appointed Jane Niles to the position of Head of Real Estate Offshore in its corporate and family office team in the Channel Islands, as it looks to capitalise on real estate opportunities in the UK and offshore.
In her new role, Jane, who joined Investec in 2016, will report into Mark Bladon, Head of Real Estate, and Brendan Stewart, Managing Director Investec Bank (Channel Islands).
Overseeing a team of 15 across Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man, she will help provide access for Investec's global client base to lending, banking and wealth management services, with a focus on real estate finance solutions.
Jane previously served as Head of Corporate and Family Office, Guernsey, at Investec Bank (Channel Islands), focusing on real estate lending for family office clients structured via offshore trusts.
She joined Investec in 2016 after an international banking career in Hong Kong and London, including 11 years with NatWest. She has supported family offices, listed conglomerates and utility and infrastructure companies with their international banking and finance needs.
