Deloitte makes leadership changes

JohnClacyDeloitte has made a number of changes across the senior leadership team, including the appointment of John Clacy (pictured) to the role of Partner in Charge of Offshore.
John has managed the Guernsey business since 2014, and his promotion to this pan-island role reflects the collaborative nature of the two offices, which operate as a single organisation.

The business will continue to run on a combined, one-practice basis, with John dividing his time between the two islands.

He started work with Deloitte as a graduate in 1994, and last summer marked his 25th year with the company.
Meanwhile, David Becker, who was promoted to the position of Partner in 2014, has assumed the role of Partner in Charge of the Guernsey office, whilst Greg Branch remains Partner in Charge of the Jersey office.

David works within the audit team and has over 20 years’ experience of Guernsey's finance industry.
Jo Huxtable, Tax Partner, will take on the Channel Islands leadership role for talent. Her new role will span both islands with a focus on continuing to build recruitment and career opportunities for students and experienced professionals.

Jo also leads the Channel Islands tax teams, advising on a range of sectors including funds, banking, real estate and private equity, and is involved in commenting on tax policy in both islands.
Alex Adam, Advisory Director, will take on operational leadership for advisory services across both islands.
He leads the development of restructuring, transactions, regulation and controls offerings across the financial services industry in the islands.
