Deloitte Guernsey adds to audit and advisory teams

Deloitte appts, Guernsey_mar20Deloitte in Guernsey has strengthened its audit and advisory teams with 12 appointments – 10 in the audit department and two in the advisory team.

In the advisory team, Brett Bewey and Sarah Simon join as Managers, responsible for offering advice and support on risk and regulation. They work with a variety of clients to support and enhance their business offering.

Brett joins the business from the Guernsey Financial Services Commission, where he has served as Assistant Director for the past year and a half. He has also held senior roles at Insurance Corporation Channel Islands, Generali Worldwide and the Guernsey Border Agency.

Sarah joins after seven and a half years with Guernsey police, most recently as a Police Constable. A range of roles has included stints focusing on economic crime and hi-tech investigation.

The 10 new appointments to Deloitte Guernsey’s audit team include the following Assistant Managers: 
• Trymore Masai
• Tariro Mutiswa
• Kudakwashe Miambo
• Frank Ssekajugo
• Sebastian Mutasa
• Memorandah Murakayi
• Emmanuel Ekoh
• Sharane Waterman
• Lindiwe Xaba
 
In their new roles, they will be responsible for fieldwork, research on audit and accounting issues, reviewing financial statements and disclosures and clearing all levels of review. 
 
In addition, Cecilia Manda joins the audit team as a Manager, having previously worked as an Assistant Audit Manager for 10 years at Deloitte in Malawi.
