Consultancy firm Yesrej has been launched this week in Jersey, offering a range of business consultancy services and providing corporate turnaround support.
The new business is led by Mary Frawley (pictured), who plans to help local consultants improve their corporate turnaround skills and establish Jersey as a leader in this area of service.
A qualified accountant, project manager and business analyst, Mary has more than 20 years of experience across businesses ranging from start-ups to multinationals, private equity and public sector bodies. She is also an accredited member of the Institute for Turnaround (IFT).
She has spent the past seven years as a Director with BDO Greenlight in Jersey.
Mary has overseen corporate turnarounds and carried out remediation work in the UK, Australia, Switzerland and Luxembourg.
She has conducted financially distressed and regulatory triggered turnarounds and worked in sectors including professional and financial services, regtech, healthcare, hospitality, education and security.
Mary commented: “Covid has been a change accelerator for how we work and live… In the short term, because some financial support exists and many businesses have conducted health checks, Yesrej will focus on corporate turnaround education and providing consultancy to businesses seeking early intervention to address weaknesses, be these operational or regulatory.
"In the medium term, Yesrej is looking to grow a new generation of locally trained corporate turnaround consultants, supported by the IFT."
