Collas Crill has named Ian Montgomery as the new Local Managing Partner of its British Virgin Islands office.
Ian will take up the role on 1 January, following the retirement of Gerard St C Farara, who will continue as a Consultant and Senior Adviser to the firm.
Recently based in the firm's Jersey office as a Partner, Ian returned to the BVI in 2018 to lead Collas Crill's Corporate, Finance and Funds department. He was admitted as a solicitor in the BVI in 2014 and then spent almost two and a half years working there for Harneys.
Ian first came to Jersey in 2016, where he spent a year with Mourant Ozannes as a Senior Associate.
