Ed Mason-Smith APMThe newly established Channel Islands Branch of the Association for Project Management (APM) is to hold its first event in Jersey in February.

The event is on 8 February from 5pm to 7.30pm at Prosperity 24.7, Millais House Castle Quay, and is free to attend.

It will bring together project professionals from across the Channel Islands, as well as providing insights into the priorities and initiatives of the APM.

Since 2018, the APM has worked with representatives from the project profession in the Channel Islands to increase engagement locally. This led to last year's launch of the Channel Islands Branch in Guernsey.

The Jersey event will feature:
• Keynote speech by APM CEO Adam Boddison, who will share the latest developments and initiatives of the association.
• Presentation by Channel Islands Branch Chair Ed Mason-Smith (pictured), a Director at CBO Projects, who will introduce the branch committee, outline the branch’s plans, and invite feedback and suggestions from attendees.
• Q&A session with APM representatives and volunteers.
