Carey Olsen's Le Cras in IFC Power Women top 100

Karen Le Cras, a partner at Carey Olsen, has been recognised in Citywealth magazine's IFC Power Women Top 100 list which celebrates powerful and influential women working in international financial centres.

The list is generated partly by the 2013 edition of the Citywealth Leaders List and recommendations from leading figures in the financial services industry. It focuses on professionals and influencers from diverse backgrounds, including private client advisory and private wealth, who help to promote business excellence in their home jurisdiction.

Advocate Le Cras, who specialises in corporate and commercial disputes with a strong contentious trusts practice, is one of 10 Guernsey women in the list of 100 from across the world and was described as a "great ambassador for the jurisdiction and extremely competent trusts lawyer." Karen was also named in the Citywealth's Leaders List 2013 in the Honours List for Contentious Trusts – one of only four Guernsey lawyers in the list and the only female Guernsey lawyer.

Karen joined Carey Olsen in March 2002 having previously practised at a leading London firm. She was called as an advocate of the Guernsey Bar in July 2003 and made a partner in 2005.
