Jeremy Garrood has been promoted to 'of counsel' in Carey Olsen’s Jersey office.
Advocate Garrood (pictured) is an experienced offshore practitioner who has worked in Bermuda, the Caribbean and the Channel Islands. He joined Carey Olsen in 2012 and represents a range of clients who require trust, insolvency and commercial litigation advice, while also specialising in complex cross-border company law cases.
As a litigator Jeremy has experience of complex corporate disputes. He is currently instructed by a global hospitality group in on-going cross-border franchise litigation, he is advising in a Jersey unfair prejudice dispute contesting ownership of a Caucasian gold mine and on a BVI derivative action relating to Norwegian oil-drilling technology.
