Carey Olsen is hosting seminars in Guernsey and Jersey to explain the impact of incoming UK market abuse legislation.
The new regime, which comes into effect on 3 July, will have an impact on everyone who advises clients on London and other European Stock Exchange investments and trades.
Guest speakers include Jonathan Baird and William Saunders from Freshfields and Katherine Dillon from Stephenson Harwood. They will examine the main differences from the existing regime, discuss the implications for those who do not comply, and suggest steps that can be taken to ensure compliance.
The seminar takes place at the Old Government House Hotel, Guernsey, on Wednesday 29 June from 5pm. The Jersey event follows on Thursday 30 June at 11am at the Royal Yacht Hotel.
