Businesslife launches second Future View c-suite supplement

Posted: 13/04/2021

BL68_Future ViewBusinesslife magazine is to publish its second annual bound-in thought leadership supplement with its forthcoming May/July issue – giving the islands’ business leaders a chance to set out their thinking on how their sectors will rebound post-coronavirus.

Throughout the pandemic, Channel Islands financial organisations have responded steadfastly – and their leaders remain resolutely confident in the islands’ ability to retain their status as an international financial centre of choice.

They also acknowledge that the pandemic – together with other forces – has had an impact on the outlook for many sectors.

This supplement will provide a platform for leaders to set out their predictions and vision for the future – be they regulatory updates, market changes, new financial models, rethinking strategy and direction, or other emerging trends.

The Future View supplement will provide c-suite leaders with a two-page slot (including photography supplied or sourced by us), and each sector will be limited to two contributions.

Businesslife editor-in-chief Jon Watkins said: “We launched the Future View supplement last year in response to a demand among business leaders for a platform through which they could share their vision and their outlook during a volatile time.

"Having showcased the views of many of the islands’ leaders, and following continued volatility, we want to revisit those outlooks and understand what the financial world will look like as we return to normal.”

While Businesslife is focused on obtaining high-level insights from the islands’ c-suite leaders, the costs associated with the supplement mean we are having to charge a small commercial fee of £1,000 for inclusion in it.

We are currently looking for contributions for the following sectors – although our commitment to ensuring we have only two contributions from each section mean we must operate on a first-come, first-served basis:
• Investment funds and fund management
• Wealth management
• Corporate banking
• Insurance
• Capital markets
• Fintech
• Law
• General tech
• Tax/audit/advisory

For those looking to be included, we will need agreement by 22 April, and copy supplied after that.
