BCR Law names three new Partners

BCR_Advocate Harrison, Advocate Leverington and Advocate WakelingBCR Law has appointed Advocates Adam Harrison, Michelle Leverington and Emma Wakeling as Partners within the firm. Each will lead their respective teams. 

Adam joined BCR Law in 2016 after several years in practice with Appleby in Jersey. He is a specialist in criminal law as well as regulatory and health and safety law. Adam qualified as a Jersey solicitor in 2010 and was called as an Advocate in 2013. 

Michelle was sworn in as an Advocate of the Royal Court in 2016, having been admitted as a Jersey solicitor in 2011. Before joining BCR Law in 2013, she worked as a property solicitor with Appleby and more recently as Legal Counsel with Barclays Wealth and Investment.

Michelle leads BCR Law’s residential conveyancing practice, as well as dealing with the administration of estates, including those involving foreign testators and complex assets such as family-run businesses.

Finally, Emma was called to the English Bar in 2009 and qualified as a Jersey Advocate in 2012. Her specialism is in family and criminal law, whilst maintaining an interest in criminal advocacy. 

In her role, she advises on a wide range of family work, including divorce and the attendant resolution of financial matters and on issues involving children.
