Alexforbes Offshore has appointed Timothy Townsend as Head of Wealth Management and Corporate Consulting.
Tim brings with him more than 14 years’ experience in international wealth planning and investments.
He joins Alexforbes from Standard Bank, where he has served as Senior Business Development Manager, International Fiduciary Investment Solutions, for the past four years.
Prior to that, he held an executive role with Ashburton Investments in Jersey, having previously worked for Lloyds Banking Group in both Jersey and South Africa.
Tim is a Certified Financial Planner and a Chartered Financial Planner.
His new role will focus on expanding the financial advice, employee benefits and personal pension solutions provided by Alexforbes Offshore.
The appointment comes as the company announces a change of name and brand. The business, previously named Alexander Forbes Offshore, was established in Jersey in 1975, with its South Africa headquarters dating back to 1935.
