[6367] - Junior HR Administrator - Maven Partners

The Organisation:
Our client, a full-service bank and wealth manager, is looking for a Junior HR Administrator to join their Human Resources team.

The Role:
Responsibilities include:
Organise and maintain personnel records with the HR systems and workspaces, ensuring internal databases are updated accurately and in a timely manner (i.e. employee absence/leave, personal data, employment data, regulatory data).
Prepare contractual documents for new recruits in line with their negotiated conditions of employment with the Bank, and processing of associated documentation to ensure all regulatory and Bank policy requirements are completed.
Prepare and manage the administration of joining procedures for new employees and changes for existing members as required for their inclusion in Bank benefit programmes, in accordance with their individual terms and conditions of employment. Liaise with third party benefit provider as required to process annual renewal of benefit policies.
Facilitate the process for employees taking a period of leave or terminating their employment, to ensure that all relevant procedures around employment issues including salary, benefits entitlements and security matters are completed.
The preparation and processing of the weekly payroll payments to pay weekly paid staff in accordance with their current terms and conditions of employment with the Bank, and their commitments to Income Tax and Social Insurance.
Provide initial first day induction training to all new employees, including the completion of recruitment related paperwork, familiarisation with essential health and safety procedures and introduction to key departments.
General administration of Human Resources policies and practices including, but not limited to, areas such as sickness absence, amendments to working arrangements and maintenance of employee data.


The Person:
You will possess the following key characteristics:
Willingness to learn and build knowledge in a generalist HR environment.
Excellent administration skills, with a high degree of numeracy and literacy.
Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
Excellent communication skills and customer care and service techniques.
Strong personal organisation and time management skills.
High degree of discretion and ability to preserve absolute confidentiality.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously.
