[6314] - HR Business Partner - Maven Partners

The Organisation:
Our client, an independent award winning alternative investment, corporate and private client administrator, is looking for a HR Business Partner to join their HR team.

The Role:
Responsibilities include:
Build collaborative relationships with internal clients. Develop your understanding of their strategic priorities and goals.
Support the embedding of business strategy through providing appropriate, proactive and timely strategic and operational HR support, solutions and advice.
Within your client group, lead the delivery of group HR initiatives and processes in accordance with the time frames and budgets specified, including organisational change, performance review and promotions, succession planning and annual pay review.
Provide advice and guidance to managers on the application of core HR policies and procedures, including performance and absence management, internal mobility and development planning.
Lead the proactive management and resolution of employee relations issues.
Take responsibility for leading and/or supporting a range of general HR projects, to include reacting to legislative changes, employee engagement initiatives, retention activities and any other projects depending on the strategy of the HR function.
Act in a line management capacity for other HR Officers and/or Administrators in the team.
Analysis of HR data (trends and metrics) to develop and enhance solutions, processes, and programs that address current problems and also to avoid future ones.

The Person:
You will possess the following key characteristics:
Relevant HR qualification(s) - ideally CIPD level 7.
Educated to a minimum of A level standard.
Technically strong HR generalist with experience of working in a fiduciary / professional services environment, ideally in a business operating across multiple jurisdictions.
Proven ability to identify, scope and implement commercial and pragmatic HR solutions in response to
business needs.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
Strong organisational skills, including planning and time management to enable effective prioritisation of multiple activities.
Proficient user of Microsoft office suite of applications (including intermediate Excel).
Working knowledge of Jersey Employment Law essential (UK desirable).
An enthusiastic, motivated, quick learner.
Ability to work under pressure using own initiative and judgement.
Flexible approach and willing to adapt and provide assistance where required.
A good eye for detail and passionate about quality.
Be committed to fulfil personal CPD requirements and to continue to expand personal skill base.
