The Organisation:
Our client, an investment, corporate and private client administration company, is looking for a Technical Learning Officer to join their IT team.

The Role:
Responsibilities include:
The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to play a key role in the implementation of the organisations’ first global Learning Management System, to design, roll-out and embed use of the system to the business.
Implementation - work with the Learning Management System Project Manager on the project to deliver the company’s first LMS, involving working and training with the suppliers and the business to configure and implement the system within specified timescales.
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity of the learning management system and its data. This includes ensuring that the daily employee data feed required to bring starters and leavers in and out of the LMS is accurate in line with contracts of employment dates.
Develop and maintain configuration procedures, process maps and standards for the LMS to ensure the promotion of best practice use and engagement.
Responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of learning materials conform to agreed standards and layout to ensure global consistency and accuracy.
Carry out technical training needs analysis and performance assessments to determine the skills gap between current and desirable learner skill levels.
Support the Global IT Training Manager with the design and delivery of relevant core and business applications training which reinforce and support day to day working practices.

The Person:
You will possess the following key characteristics:
Educated to A Level or degree standard.
Ideally the post holder will have completed a professional/relevant qualification to a minimum TAP Trainer and Instructional Designer role or equivalent.
A comprehensive understanding and technical knowledge IT Systems and software packages including Microsoft Office. Whilst not essential, knowledge of NavOne, iManage, eFront, SalesForce would be an advantage.
Excellent communication and motivational skills; both written and verbal with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
Ideally a minimum of 3 years’ experience in training design, delivery and administration.
Experience in elearning design or a desire to learn.
Problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent presentation skills and confidence.
Excellent organisational and time management skills to enable effect prioritisation of multiple activities.
