Zedra expands senior team in Channel Islands

Mark Cleary, Joe Donohoe, Paul NayarCorporate services company Zedra has expanded its team in the Channel Islands with three senior hires. 

Paul Nayar has been appointed Finance Director; Mark Cleary is now Head of Relationship Management and Funds, Guernsey; and Joe Donohoe has become Client Director.

Paul and Mark have pan-island roles across Jersey and Guernsey. Paul is responsible for all financial procedures, policies, controls and reporting systems, while Mark oversees relationships with bespoke fund services and will act on a number of fund boards.

Paul has 22 years’ experience in the international finance industry. He has held several senior positions, most recently as Chief Financial Officer for Result Marketing Group. During his career, he has also spent 10 years with Royal Bank of Scotland and seven with Santander. 

Mark’s 25-year career in the funds and asset management industries has been spent predominantly in Jersey, as well as Luxembourg and Guernsey. Prior to joining Zedra, he was Risk Manager for Ashburton Investments, before which he spent six years with Barclays. 

As Zedra’s new Client Director, Joe Donohoe has responsibility for a global portfolio of high-net-worth families and developing relationships. 

He moved to Jersey in 1986 to work in the trust sector, forming part of the ownership team that sold the Abacus business to RBC in 2005. More recently, he has worked for DPZ Capital, and joined Zedra from Asset Risk Consultants, where he was a Director.
