Winners of the 2016 Guernsey Awards for Achievement announced

The results of the 2016 Guernsey Awards for Achievement have been announced at the annual Awards Gala Evening held on Thursday 9 February in the Sir John Loveridge Hall, Beau Sejour, St Peter Port.

The winners of the six business awards were:

• NatWest Best Small Business Award – Kings Beauty

• Condor Ferries Employer of the Year – Sure

• Investec Sustainability Award – Bijoux Boutique

• Excellence in Marketing Award – Black Vanilla, ‘Buy A Brick’ campaign for the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation

• BWCI Innovation Award – Galaxy Computer Brokers 

• Committee for Economic Development Guernsey Business of the Year Award – Aon Insurance Managers (Guernsey)

Deputy Peter Ferbrache, President of the Committee for Economic Development, said: “Guernsey continues to develop and strengthen an economy whose roots lie in the very foundations of the word ‘diversity’.  

“It is this diversity, coupled with the ability to adapt, to change, and to take advantage of the opportunities as they arise, which is the common hallmark of the winners and finalists of the 2016 Guernsey Awards for Achievement.”
