Walkers has appointed two Senior Counsel to its Channel Islands Banking & Finance and Private Capital practices.
Jon Le Rossignol joins as Senior Counsel in the Banking & Finance team. Jon is returning to Jersey having spent the past five years practising Jersey law in London with Mourant.
Prior to this he spent six years in London and Hong Kong with Allen & Overy, advising lenders and borrowers on banking and finance matters involving Jersey entities. He has particular expertise in the financing and corporate restructuring of Jersey investment holding structures.
Sevyn Kalsi (pictured) joins Walkers as a Senior Counsel in the Private Capital and Trusts team. Sevyn, who joins the firm after four years with Ogier, advises high-net and ultra-high-net worth individuals, family and trust offices, private banks, corporate trustees, settlors, beneficiaries and intermediaries on all aspects of trusts, foundations and private capital.
He also has expertise with cross-jurisdictional trust and corporate restructuring matters including the re-domiciliation of companies both into and out of Jersey.
